The dialogue, mostly in Portuguese, was a refreshing touch and left me wanting more of it. It’s rare for me to see a film where Portuguese takes center stage, which adds another layer of uniqueness to the film. Ultimately, The Grand Tour is a beautiful, contemplative work, filled with stunning visuals, a score, and a palpable sense of care in every frame.

Art the Clown is ready to unleash mayhem on the unsuspecting residents of Miles County as they peacefully go to sleep on Christmas Eve. Director Damien Leone said several major studios expressed interest in financing the film based on the runaway success of Terrifier 2 (2022), even without a full script, but he turned them all down because he’s sure they’d never let him shoot the opening scene himself, which he says is “very controversial”. Leone noted that the only reason he can be so uncompromising in his portrayal of horror and gore is because he finances his films independently, creates all the special effects himself to keep costs down, and has no major studio breathing down his neck . There is an uncut version of the film that is 2 hours and 25 minutes long with 5 additional scenes. But this one, Terrifier 3, is special. I mean it when I say I haven’t laughed so hard in a theater in a long time. Leave it to the art of the deviant ridiculousness of the clown to make me smile! It’s so over the top, so much crap, to the point where the killing becomes kind of creative and intentionally hilarious, that I can’t hold it in anymore. He’s a really weird villain because he’s as scary as he is funny.

And Damien Leone struck gold with clown art. He is the slasher hero of 2020, no questions asked. And this franchise will become one of the biggest horror movies. If you are a fan of horror movies, you definitely have to watch them all. The third one is my favorite, although the second one might be the best and has the most classic scenes.
