Deadpool is offered a place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe by the Time Warp Authority, but instead recruits a version of Wolverine to save his universe from extinction. What about frames, you ask?
Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman and Shawn Levy poured their hearts into making this movie what it is. It’s beyond the MCU timeline, beyond even FOX’s “X-Men.” movies. It’s about all the kids who grew up with these movies and these characters. The kids who are all grown up but still love every bit of it. You know it’s going to be fun with these two, but man… I laughed so hard my stomach felt it. And the jokes… make sure this is not Deadpool watered down in the MCU, but Deadpool at his best. The inevitable bromance unfolded before our eyes. The story is okay, nothing special, but you feel it, and with the past knowledge of these characters and the universe they belong to, everything turns to emotion.
The action and visuals are amazing
Well, we already know a bunch, but be aware that there are a bunch more, and even the ones we already know mean more than meets the eye. Emma Corrin as the evil Cassandra Nova is a great addition to the film and the MCU as a whole. He’s smart, strong, cold-blooded, and mocks our two leaders. There are some really creative scenes where the adamantium swords and claws create such chaos that everything is so bloody! The music selection is great and fun, it can be so cracking at times. The opening scene is pure gold! The film cannot be praised enough, but "Deadpool & Wolverines" it’s definitely in my top 5 movie theater experiences, and you can easily guess the rest. The whole theater laughed, cheered and sobbed as one person.
What more could you ask for?
Also, the movie has such a rewatch factor, its length is perfect and you can be sure it will make a lot of money! You may not catch every detail the first time you watch it, but you’ll want to, so over and over…and over. What about the credit scene, you may ask? Somehow I don’t want to say anything about it because I don’t want to spoil even the possible direction your thought is headed. Hang in there, there’s something really beautiful even under the credits.
